Mike + Beth : Tall Timbers Barn, Pocono PA

My drive to Beth + Mike's wedding was nothing short of breathtaking. The Poconos were vibrant with colors and the air was crisp. When I pulled up to the venue my jaw just dropped at how perfect it was. My heart was bursting with joy the entire time.

Beth and Mike's wedding celebration was laid back, stress free, and candid. They wanted their focus of the photos to be on the people and the moments. Beth spent her morning getting ready with three of her best girlfriends and when she arrived to the venue she walked around the property at a relaxed pace with her adorable dog, Timba, running around as happy as a clown. There was no rush to the day and it was obvious that Beth was enjoying herself and her company. The boys arrived ready and set to go. They got pulled away for a few moments of portrait time but then it was time to start the ceremony!

Their wedding ceremony was nestled in the woods under an adorned flower arch with onlookers watching as they promised themselves to one another. They read their vows to one another and finally kissed as husband and wife! Right after the ceremony the Bride and Groom, along with their Bridal Party, made their way to a tree house bar. Yup, you read that right. A bar, in a tree house! So cool. Drinks were passed around for a few moments and then it was time for portraits.

As we walked around for the Bride and Groom portraits Timba was never very far behind. He gallivanted around with the kind of happiness only dogs know. He even joined Beth and Mike for a few photo opportunities.

The rest of the evening got underway with an opening speech by the Bride's father and guests were able to enjoy the property at their leisure. The coolest thing about Tall Timbers Barn is the variety of locations on the property itself. With two fire pits, a patio seating area, the barn, side porch, and pavilion there was no shortage of places to socialize. As cocktail hour was served guests could also indulge in the TWELVE POUNDS of bacon laid out on tables in and around the main barn. Beth had specially prepared the bacon and guests were picking at it like candy!

Dinner was served buffet style followed by the toasts and dancing. Once it got dark enough the fire pits were lit and everyone spilled outside to enjoy the warmth from the flames.
